Did the Denali ever come with heated wind shield wiper fluid?

When I bought the batch I had new from my supplier they cost about $40 each!!!! AlphaTherm still stands behind their product and swears the "fire" issues GM had wasn't on their end. The units GM used were designed by AlphaTherm but not to AlphaTherms specs.

My 08 Escalade had this, the dealer removed it and i went to the company who made them since they were about 5 minutes from my house, and they installed a brand new one which was plug and play right into the old ones spot, GM even left the 60amp fuse in the fuse box so i didnt have to buy one.

Best feature ever, was amazing in the winter with the snow, im gonna miss it though.

MicroHeat was original manu, the unit was called the HotShot. They went bust after losing GM contract. However, AlphaTherm started up after "acquiring" the designs (might even be the same folks), their unit is called the HeatShot.

Supposedly, they enhanced the design to better work with GM electrics.

My unit is on it way. BTW, does anyone know if the AlphaTherm unit comes with a 60amp fuse to replace the dealer removed one?

If you purchased it from their web site they have a "Buy with fuse" option. I suspect it dosent come with one.

Got unit from AlphaTherm yesterday, installed today. No real issues, works great. Did have to get 60 amp fuse, dealer must have removed that also. The dealer also bent the bracket that holds the unit when they removed it. That was my only install issue, needed the bend the top flange down so the unit would snap in.

I got my unit today but when I went to install I realized the dealer must have removed the bracket during the recall because I have no bracket. Now I have to find one.

Word of advise check your truck and make sure you have the bracket before you buy.
