Did the Denali ever come with heated wind shield wiper fluid?

Got unit from AlphaTherm yesterday, installed today. No real issues, works great. Did have to get 60 amp fuse, dealer must have removed that also. The dealer also bent the bracket that holds the unit when they removed it. That was my only install issue, needed the bend the top flange down so the unit would snap in.

I got my unit today but when I went to install I realized the dealer must have removed the bracket during the recall because I have no bracket. Now I have to find one.

Word of advise check your truck and make sure you have the bracket before you buy.

pics of this "bracket" please?

I wish I did. I found that pick in another forum. I just posted it for Nathan. I haven't the faintest idea where to find one of these mounts. I will probably end up making one.

'07 & '08 Denali had them, and as Nathanjax said, the dealers were required to remove them whether you wanted it deleted or not. Several friends who had them removed were able to go to the original manufacturer and get the updated parts to reinstall. But one friend's dealer removed that too thinking it was factory, and had to pay to have the aftermarket part put back in since they'd destroyed the part they'd removed per GM orders. But there's no retrofit kit for those of us with newer Denalis, at least that I'm aware of.

That's weird, I was almost 99% positive that the original manufacturer of those units went bankrupt. Maybe I was wrong...

I thought a different company had a newer version of those that folks were retrofitting in as almost a plug and play option.

I know out 08' LTZ had it. Was pretty nifty option to have too!

Junk yards here in the Bronx that have denali's in their yard think they are Bugatti's. They will want more than the unit.

Okay so I learned today that alpha therm customer service rocks.

They have some of the gm mounts in stock if yours is missing or did not come with one.

They also have a universal unit the model 38 that you can make work if you don't have the button and factory connections. It hooks up real easy considering we would mount it right by the fuse box anyway.

The mount for the 38 works with the 37 as well so if they run out of the gm ones just ask for a 38 if you end up needing a mount.

Good people over there. Very fast responses.

Yes, Alpha-therm are an awesome group of people. Feel sorry for them that GM put them under the bus the way they did.

All of the vehicles that I put their units on that originally had the GM units ALWAYS had the factory mounts still there. The dealers were instructed to just unsnap the GM unit, not to remove the mount. I suppose some took the mount out too ???
