Not sure the correct area to post this, but here it goes....

Has anyone here ever done a diesel conversion to a gas powered rig? Specifically I'm looking at a Cummins 4BT going into the 88-98 K1500 body style with a manual trans.

I like that body style and also like maximum efficiency, durability, no emissions, and low cost of ownership. So, I figured a cool project might be something along those lines.

Any thoughts, experiences, ideas?

Thanks!

Two wheel drive easy and alot of room. 4x4 gets difficult without SAS. Earlier squarebodies much easier. Best addition is a doubler or aux trans as gears limit speed especially with 4BT needing lower gears.
