Differences in '09 & '08/'07 Models regarding CAI's, Exhaust, etc.

i have a Tahoe 6.2 also. I e-mailed Corsa to ask if they have a system for it. The response was that there are so few of the vehicle out there that they haven't had one to test. He thought a GMC 6.2 would probably fit, but not sure. I assume that's why we can't find other performance parts. I found a GMPP CAI the other day at an out of state dealer. Those have been discontinued. I'm looking for an exhaust and tune because there is a definite difference between my performance and an Escalade.

Just put a few miles on it and it'll wake up. My 6-speed 6.2L 4X4 seemed slower than the '07 2WD 5.3L with the 4 speed and both have 3.42's. Really started waking up at around 8K miles. Now with the BB tune and K&N drop in, I ran off and left a 2WD Escalade from a 35 mph roll. The guy couldn't believe it, so we lined 'em up from a dead stop. It was ugly. I let off at about 90 mph and he was at least 6-7 cars back.

That's good to hear. I'm waiting for a BB tune "kit" and to install the CAI. I only have about 5,000 miles so far (2nd vehicle to AMG too!!). I need it to smoke my brother's Escalade...
Yeah, CinZ, it's 4wd. That's one of the reasons I jumped on it before they discontinued it. I live in TX and not much need for AWD.
