From my understanding and the reading I've done on here, the stock intake is really restrictive. But at the same time does upgrading to an aftermarket intake like the Airaid Jr. really worth the $100+?

I'm thinking about picking up the Airaid Jr., but before I do I want to make sure the money will be well spent. Will I notice anything by upgrading to an aftermarket intake?

We need some dyno charts here!

In the future I will be producing some charts. With and without my K&N.

I have the Jr. AIRAID intake with the bottom of my air box cut out and LOVE it! Sounds just like an open air intake and from what I've read the Jr. AIRAID has the most power gains according to Black Bear Tuning Co. For $160 I think it was I spent from Summit, is alot cheaper than other open intakes.

Thanks for the info everyone. Picked up the Airaid Jr (no filter) for $111 off Amazon. Couldn't pass up that deal. I'll have it Saturday. Curious to how it will sound.

You'll definitely want to get a K&N style drop in filter for it to get the full sound potential and power out of it you're looking for since they breath alot better than the paper filters if you don't already have one.
