True and most PnP kits suck ass aswell.
I know where you stand on PnP HID kits but there are still good and bad ones.
This guys plans aren't gonna work and they don't even make sense he would be blinding people with his low beams and his high beams.
It was a ridiculous unthought out plan to begin with.

From what I am gathering, maybe just try this:

Cut both the tan (lo beam +) and lt green (high beam +) from each headlamp. Switch them to the opposing cut wire (tan truck side into lt green bulb side and vice versa). This will give you DRL and low beam in the inner reflector, and high beam in the outer. Install an HID kit for the stock lows bulbs and location and perform the 4Hi mod. Keep in mind that you will still be using the same color wires as described, just different locations. Maybe do the 4Hi first, then cut the wires between the splice and the bulb and reconnect as described above.

I think this will be the simplest way to do what you are describing. Doing this will keep factory fit bulbs in their proper location to prevent any moisture getting in from swapping the bulb itself into the other location and using stock harnesses, and having to modify either the bulb lock tabs or the receptacle, not to mention sealing up the different sized bulb openings.

However, this would be very true:
he would be blinding people with his low beams and his high beams.

Its just a sore subject on this forum. Safety is their concern, as blinding people is not usually safe. Some kits are ok, but you never know. I sport hid's as well, so i got no say. Peeps just want you to be safe about it and make sure others are safe. Good luck w/ what you are doing and hope you dont consider this negative.
