is it me or am I the only one that knows that on a obs there is no seperate drl refleclector. the drl setup is in fact the low beams on with no parking lights active at the same time. maybe its just me.:doh2:

no your not the only one, I know it too, that's why I was wanting to do this kind of mod....
What if I simply put the DRL's in the high beam location, and the HIDs in the low beam location, and when its nighttime I can just pull the lever for the high beams but its really the HID's???

You can't just "put the DRLs in the high beams" the DRL IS the Low beams. You need cut the wires off at the DRL relay and run new wires to the high beams.

I know, I want to leave them as the DRL's but put them in the high beam location in the headlight, no rewiring needed, just have to make them fit in the socket, same for the high beam socket...

What purpose does that serve?

If you want HID high beams just get them no need for all this flip flop stuff.

that makes no sense, you want to drill a hole and add another bulb to the high beam housing?

He said earlier he wants his low beam bulb in the high beam housing and an HID in his low beam housing and when he clicked on the high beams he wants the HID to come on.
Which is completely retarded.

think what you want, I just don't want to use HID's for my DRL's, I drive a lot during the day and I don't want to wear them out....

You probably have a DRL fuse just pull it.
No more DRLs and no HID issues.
