Recently purchased a 2003 Tahoe LT 2WD with 164k on the clock and I have never seen so much dirt. Was on a farm in Caldwell, KS (population 50?) for the last 8 years and has dirt in every crevice even under the insulation. I see why a local custom detail shop wanted to charge me $700 just to "recover" the interior. Got it for a steal and just has a bad tranny. This will be a journey indeed. (PIC HEAVY)

Get a nice carpet from here http://www.stockinteriors.com/, add mass backing, feel satisfied!

I'd just wipe down all the plastics and vacuum.

If you search for it, some guys on here have recovered their headliners, lookin' fresh. I personally don't think yours is too dirty from the pics.

Thanks. I only have the rear third left to clean. I plan on power washing the carpet to see if I can save a few bucks if not I'll buy one at that website w/mass backing. Now only if I had more daylight. Ive followed this forum so long I practically feel like I can tackle anything! Got to pick up a set of torx bits to fully remove the carpet since the rear is held down by two tie-downs.

I had some finger prints on my headliner and I sprayed it with Resolve Spot and Stain. After I sprayed it, I wiped it up with a clean cloth and it came out great. I also had some stains on the sunroof cover where it had gotten wet, I sprayed them also and the stains were all gone.

Thanks. Got everything in now, still considering swapping front seats out and the middle row for captains, but this will do for now. Scrub the headliner and clean the air ducts and then ill move on to the undercarriage...next week lol
