I bought a 04 Yukon SLT recently and the buttons were worn out. I replaced the heavily damaged power button/knob for $6 off Amazon. Numerous other buttons were worn, but repairable. I bought a $1 bottle of paint from Michaels craft store and a cheap brush. The paint matches and it's hardly noticeable now. A lot cheaper than replacing all the buttons for $50-75 for what sellers are asking on EBay. It's held up over the last month since I did it.
