I got quoted $190 + $35 for the Switch to install it.

I just took mine out. Fairly easy...

Remove wheel, top and bottom column trim. remove the key tumbler. Disconnect a few wires and unplug the ignition switch.

I will go buy a new one tomorrow and see if that fixes my truck.

I would think an 03 is different.. I can tell you the airbag removal itself will be different..
