DJM Sway Bar Links

Im not sure if these are the right sway bar links for my truck i got. Can anyone confirm if they are or not?

FINALLY someone has posted about the same useless design issues I had with my DJM end links. The bushing is way too big!! Your gonna have to do what I did and dremel down the excess bushing to make it fit.
This must be at least a slightly common issue I'm surprised Norcal does not know more about it.

depends on trucks. Gm on some trucks the tabs were welded farther apart while others were not. Ive had some where it was a tight fit on the stock endlinks while others were farther and the mounts tightened together to hold the stock one.

The test vehicle djm had had the farther mount design.


looking at the first pic i can see on yours the tabs are bent inwards also. i usually just open up the mounts use poly grease and slide the new ones in no biggie been doing that for years already.

Btw you will notice on some models the tabs are thicker than other models also. THere are a few vairances with the 07 up trucks upper a arm frame tabs also.

Its still an unacceptable design regardless! Apart from DJM parts I have never installed any other drop parts (Belltech of McG) that required bending out a tab or some other form of modification without the kit notes saying outright "requires modification" or something along those lines.

Also, it says in the instructions i got and on the wed, The d-bushing on the driver side must be moved on the frame about 2" (fig#4). There is a hole already in the pad. Line up and "DRILL" the second hole then bolt on with 3/8" x 1" bolts.

Do i need to drill in new holes or can i just flip the bar?

I dont think they are bent because i can slid my stock ones right in but ill check it again to make sure. My truck is down so ill have sometime to figure it out, lol

Mine is an 03.

I drilled a new hole for mine also.

modded sorry you feel like that but for 10 seconds of work I don't think its a big issue.

yukon im saying your tabs are bent inward can see how it gets closer toward the bottom all you will need to do is bend the tabs out which takes 5 seconds per side.
