modded sorry you feel like that but for 10 seconds of work I don't think its a big issue.

yukon im saying your tabs are bent inward can see how it gets closer toward the bottom all you will need to do is bend the tabs out which takes 5 seconds per side.

Nothing involving DJM is ever a big issue to you because of course you make profits off them and have "installed hundreds of kits."
At least other people on the forum are starting to see it the same way I do because I can't even start to tell you the amount of *** I have got with people noticing the same thing. :hands:

I dont have a problem bending the tabs out but the drilling part might be alil more involved but im sure i can handle it :) but i might need to get help because i really did a # to my truck this past weekend lol

Its not a bending tab issue. It's a lack of DJM making quality parts that fit the same as stock on every vehicle and then Norcal coming up with every excuse in the book apart from that very fact.
There is proof all over online with similar issues ranging from their control arms to shocks.
It is also a issue of Norcal denying that there are issues, or plainly acting like nothing should be a big deal by making it look like customers just complain too much!

modded bending the tabs out to me doesn't seem like a big issue. Maybe djm should put shorter bushings on it to be a SLIDE in deal but then on some trucks with the wider tabs will be gap.

Either way its not a major pain to do and sometimes when lowering a truck you have to modify things just like you need to cut the brackets off the frame when going low.

and never have or will say customers complain to much. If they call me I walk them thru it and customers feel a lot better when I do that with them.

Thats what i like the most, tony! If i didnt have that... Yea... things would have been much worse!!!

Curious, if i dont drill the new holes will it really make a difference????

you need to move that bushing over. 1 hole is already on frame just drill other hole

I deal with many vendors and like someone to stand with there product but to know when they should stand back. Dont shove product down my throat let the people who use it talk for it imo. I have seen tony give great advice and can appreciate that but I also have noticed on here more than other sites that you ask a question you get a product usually the tb coils thrown out . I just say let the product sell itself and the people will buy it. Perfect example Belltech street performers customers love and talk about them all the time and you dont see every Bt vendor pushing them

I agree Zach.
All that Norcal posts involves pushing DJM products.
But rarely will you see him admit to their design flaws in the drop kits or inform customers about possible modifications required for install like the free travel mod or rubbing issues.
Then after the customer gets the kit and starts complaining he launches this "no biggie" attitude and says he has installed "so so" number of kits and he always does such mods when installing.
So basically its always one excuse or the other.
Also the excuse of bending end link tabs is complete bull. He just does not want to admit that they have no quality control at DJM and produce parts that are a hit or miss install. When I bought the rear hardware kit from him his EXACT response was along the lines of "oh, well just shave off some bushing a lube it down so it can slip in the housing!"
He never told me to bend a tab at all!
Also if these excuses were valid they would have come up a LONG time ago.
Also If any of these DJM excuses are valid why does he never mention it from the get go? Its always after someone has an issue because either he is completely oblivious to the issue, or just does not bring up those issue to help make some $$$.
Not trying to RANT but I just get tired of seeing this because people are continuously falling into it because I guess it does not bother them at all.

i really dont think the tab is that big but I understand where your coming from.

As for the street performance shocks I do think they ride better and for the major drop the tb springs ride better than the 5305 and this comes from my customers also so I roll with it. Ive swapped many other springs out in rear and the tb springs do ride better but ill step back about pushing them on here.

I also do install kits and I dont get these isses and I dont have guys coming back so don't think much of it and do the alignments also.

People complain about belltech rear not sitting right and they should include endlinks and trailing arm relcators on the lower drops but they dont so i offer the DJM hardware kit.

btw chase had the mcgaughys spindles hated them lost turning radius and now he went to the a arms on the site and hasnt looked back. Much better ride and hes pushing over 1200 hp at wheels and the silverado ss site 3 inch a arm set ups and people like them a lot over there.

and this was posted yesterday from 04chase
"also the a -arms dont push the wheels/hubs out more than stock and for me that helped my 22"s tuck and corner that much better , a-arms are by far the best choics frod drop in the front imo. "

he bought the a arm kit and hasn't looked back.

modded all good and its no rant its the way you feel and I understand.
