I want to swap my factory mirrors with a set of DL3 power folding mirrors, with or without turn signal indicators and light sensors. Having trouble finding correct match for my Tahoe. Understand that I will have to also purchase master switch control panel for same, and have BCM reprogrammed after installation. Can anyone point me in right direction, any help appreciated.

Need a preprogrammed passenger switch as well.

IMO it is a pain for not much.

I just happen to know the reason she needs the power mirrors is that the vehicle doesn't fit through the garage door opening w/o folding in at least one mirror and then just barely. For her the "pain" (and expense) of the mod would be worth it to eliminate the hassle of manually folding in the mirror(s) and worrying about bumping the mirror that is left extended.

She tried getting help from GM and they said they needed not only the VIN of her vehicle but the VIN of a vehicle that has power mirrors in order to identify the parts required. You mean to tell me the OEM doesn't know what it takes to get this done? :wtf2:

I've done the conversion successfully. It is a pain but you can't just take t to the dealer and have them program the Mirrors to your truck. Simply put, your truck didn't mont come with that option, it can't be installed. I know for a fact. I spent a few hundred dollars trying. The only way around this is to take a complete set off off another truck that had that option and install it to yours. If you can find the dl3 mirrors and a master sw, I have a programmed passenger side sw that will make the passenger side power fold turn and puddle lights work. Not programmed for tilt in reverse though

Crank - I got your PM but I can't respond in kind until my post count = 10. Maybe you could PM your email address?

For my education on this issue, why is a passenger side switch needed? This is all new to me.

Nita has talked to a shop owner that says he can do the install. She had already found out the dealer will not install aftermarket/used parts.
