Do seat blower fans really need to be programmed?

Did that fix the back of the seat not blowing cold air? Your original post didn’t mention the heat. Did it work? Do the lights on the panel work where you turn the heat on?

Did you test the wiring for power, ground and reference at the seat motor because even if the lights are on the switch it doesn’t mean that the seat control module is sending the current to the blower motor. There is more involved than fuses and seat motors . I replace a seat bottom blower on my 11 Tahoe and it didn’t need programming but that vehicle is older of coarse. Maybe disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and recheck, if there are codes sometimes it won’t allow it to operate.
