It is with heavy heart that I advise you of the passing of my older White German Shepherd, Logan. He lived a great 12 1/2 years, and he was a true companion and friend of mine and my family over his life, and he will be sorely missed. There were times that I think he actually believed he was human, as with his long legs, he would sit on the couch with us in the evenings.

As I've told others when a loved one is lost, I now tell myself the same: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."

Rest in Peace, my old Friend

Sorry for your loss Joseph. It's amazing how they manage to work their way into your heart. A true friend. I had a 150 lb Collie mix. He was so big I'd spoon with him on the couch lol. He'd sit on the couch with his ass on the cushion and his front legs would be on the floor watching TV with me. I really hope when our time comes our 4 legged friends will be at the pearly gates to meet us.

I "loved" your post since it shows how much we're blessed by our companions. Although we are sorry to see them depart this life, we have wonderful memories of their time with us.

Sorry to hear about your pup’s passing. We’re never ready to say goodbye. Even in their (mostly) silent presence they fill our house and our hearts. Glad you have the fun memories and the comfort of knowing you were his all.

A couple from my visit to AZ and mum’s house. All of them are around 10 years old. The crazy Vizslas are greying pretty fast, super needy and neurotic. Sweet, but a lot to handle.

My brother’s blue heeler Badger. Will chase a ball or tug of war until …… never ending and sheds like a mofo. Both my brothers have had red and blues for as long as I can remember.

Holly getting a bath because chasing lizards and rolling in the dirt. 7 years old. Not a lap dog, but loves to be near you and go for walks and car rides. Loves to sit at the table, but not fed there.

Bag of chips crinkle and she is there. Sit, a handshake and a chip.
