I joined this forum after lurking here for advice on whether I should keep my Z55 stuff or not. I opted to and went with AC Delco struts for the front and air shocks in the rear. If you're doing the fronts only, I suggest getting the arms as they have the bushings in them. Also, be careful with the old struts if you're using a spring compressor, especially if it's meant for cars. I used one and although I'm not in fear for my life, I made sure to point it away in case it decided to take off on me. Didn't have any issues though I did have to crank it down more than usual. Pay attention to the orientation of the spring and the mount, it only goes in one way and the way the strut mounted is the same way. I had to re-do mine after not paying attention to it initially.
