Haha, LONG story! They do have tint on them, but it is the legal limit in AL (32%)... so they look like they are clear. The back windows all have 5% over the stock tint, because it is legal in AL.

The jist of why I don't have illegal tint anymore: I had an 06 4Runner that was lifted, blacked out, wheels, etc. (this is it: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-gen-t4rs/64970-autbonds-06-se-build-thread-12.html ) It had 5% on all the windows and then 30% on the whole windshield. I got pulled over a couple times for it and just paid the tickets because I loved the way it looked. Well.... one day I get another ticket and I had gone to the eye doctor and gotten a prescription for my tint, saying that I got headaches from the sun light (haha) and it had actually worked twice before this one day. The cop took the prescription and did not give it back and wrote me a ticket (one of those cops) and I went to court and the judge said he was going to "make and example" out of me and sentenced me to 120 days in JAIL!!! FOR WINDOW TINT!!! So I then went and sat in the county jail (first time ever arrested) for about 3 hours until I got bailed out. I had to appeal the decision to a higher court and it got thrown out, but it cost me over $900 when it was all said and done. So THAT is why I will not have illegal tint in the city of Auburn ever again! haha.
