so i finally got my pac os-4 ive been waiting on and got everything connected to the avh-p4300 and cant get the radio to fit with all the wiring behind it. i read somewhere that i might need to cut behind the radio for all the wiring. as of right now i have the usb, aux, antenna and rcas all connected to the radio along with the pac os-4 and all of its wiring (a lot) packed behind the radio.. i tried to tuck it all behind the ac controls and where the cigarette lighters but i am still having problems. What exactly do i need to cut behind the radio to free up space??

i have this same unit installed in my 2007 NNBS tahoe with the PAC OS-4 and the steering wheel control module. i didnt have to cut anything but it took me a day and a half (prob a day of cussing and being pissed off LOL) but i did end up getting it all in there. i did see where someone cut back there though. i dont now excatly where to cut, but i do know you can get it all in there without any cutting

I put the 3300bt in my yukon and had similar issues with clearance. I went to radio shack and bought the short 90 degree right angle rca adapters, that gave me a lot more clearance. I then tucked the OS4 (I used the GM21SR from Scosche) into the cavity directly behind the deck. There is a little plastic hole that you can tuck that into. The steering wheel control can be tucked up to the right by the glove box. I had to put a couple relays in so I could utilize the dvd player while not having the parking brake on so those are behind the ac controls. As I push the deck in, I kept making sure the wiring was staying on the bottom side of the deck. I have about 1/32" of the mounting kit sticking out from the dash trim panel. A quick cut of the plastic behind the deck that is part of the front trim will probably give me enough to get the deck and kit totally flush but it was getting dark and I was annoyed enough as it was.

Hope this helps.

i also just installed a 3200dvd in my 2010..... first off that OS-4 harness is the most ********* harness i have ever worked with and not to mention had a steep price tag on it. Also it made my turn signal chime extremely annoying. But i didn't have to cut anything, just had to have patients...unfortunately i didn't think to put my RCA's in while it was already out, now i gotta take it back apart eventually.
