once you start messing with that potentiometer the noise will start coming im sure

i would say maybe mark where its at now, and then crank it little by little til you get noise, or if you dont like where it ends up at least you can turn it back to where it was where you know it works

i had the same issue, i just turned it just far enough to max my volume at a level that was just above where i normally listen to just in case a song is quieter than others, or i wanna bump, ya know?

Wise words:) exactly what I was thinking!

I'll let you know what happens

Haven't had the chance to take the DD out and adjust the GMOS. I work Mon-Sat so Sunday is my only "mod" day:( Ill let you know something once I get some free time.

Im actually getting used to the way its set up now but I would still like to tweak it just for the hell of it.

According to the GMOS manual when adjusting the Potentiometer I have to:
Turn the ignition to the "off" position and Disconnect the 14 and 16 pin harnesses from the GMOS.

Which means I wont be able to have the music on when tuning it. Kinda lame
