Door module is not too bad to remove. Here's how to do it once the door panel is off:

1. Make sure window is completely rolled down.

2. Remove all the screws around the door module, including the large one in the lower right corner.

3. Remove wiring from around module and the door speaker.

4. Remove door actuator rods from latch and handle.

5. CAREFULLY lower the module assembly out of the door, keep a hand on the glass so it doesnt bend or break off the brackets.

That's it, biggest thing is to be mindful of the glass because you don't want to break it.:)

so I fianlly did this...in the rain. Not a fun job. Took about 2.5 hours or so taking my time. I would say it is a job just about anyone can do. Watch the videos from 1a auto on youtube to get some pointers.

Replaced my driver's side handle yesterday. With the help of the 1aAuto video and some of the posts it wasn't that bad. The actual act of the replacing the handle took about 10 minutes. It was removing the inner panel that took up the majority of the time. I ended up taping the glass like the video and was able to move the panel forward enough to drop the window rollers out of the frame. This allowed me to leave the majority of the wiring in place.

Thanks again for all of the help.

they are not bad to do just u fight them alittle. the one bolt in the crease of the door, then another in behind the panel , so take the panel off and near where the handle would be is kinda like a hole and u catch the second bolt there. as for the lock it just a tab like i switch would , push it in and it slides right out and just clicks right into the new one. on the lock if u take any nuts of u are doing it wrong. should only take u like 15 minutes

It took me an hour.
