Took a bit longer than i expected but finally got the Tahoe done. The tahoe was lowered when i bought it but it wasn't right. The front springs were heated and dropped about 2.5 inches. The rear had 3" Mcgaugy's springs. I had the bell tech spindles and springs put in with no spacers for a 4" front drop. The rear was done with DJM kit with 5" lowering springs. I was hoping for more drop in the back but it seems like this is as low as it gets without riding on the bumpstops. The shop was cool enough to pull the rear springs and try the Trailblazer 5 inch springs, but it did not drop the rear anymore and was way too soft. I opted to not cut off the bump stop bracket at this time. The ride is great up front. The rear does hit the bump stops a bit but doesn't slam. So i'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Rims are 22" boss with 305/40/22 tires. Very little rub up front. No rub in the back. Also got the side windows tinted....hoping not to get a ticket :)

Looks pretty sweet Leroy!
I know the front tires must hit the fender on dips right? Mine does and it is not even as low as yours.
The DJM rear kit rode like shit when I had mine two years ago. I swapped it out for Belltech 5305 coils that sat lower and rode better.

Thanks!! If im going straight, the tires don't rub. They only rub when i turn fully left or right. The djm rear springs are pretty stout compared to the trailblazer belltechs and they keep the rear from bottoming out too bad.

It was to soft in the rear because the trailbalzer springs just sit on the bumpstops. You need to cut the bracket off and run the djm hardware kit. also are you running the djm rear hardware kit? the trailblazer springs there are 2 versions if shop had the old one they sit higher than the ones I hve.

In front your running camber bushings also correct?

Hey Tony, I do have the DJM hardware kit. As for the camber bushings im not sure. Is that necessary? There was no problem with alignment. Maybe when you start selling the 6 inch springs i'll cut the bumpstop brackets off and do the 6 inch drop.

And Neo, after driving some more today, yes the front rubs on hard dips. I need to get in and trim down this little plastic insert that sticks out from the top of the fender well, its scuffing the tire on top.
