Drum to disc conversion

have read a few threads on this subject. Kits are pricy. Wondering what year models that the rear axel assembly will bolt on to my '98 Hoe..? Thinking of hunting boneyards.

Issue is that the rear disc trucks all are 6 lug setup. Our OBS tahoes have 5 lug. Hence the after market kits.

Depends on what year OBS, mine is 6 lug. I believe 96-onward are all 6 lug

My 98 is 5 lug 5x5.

Maybe 4x4 come with 6 lug?
