Very nice.

When I took a second battery to the dealer they didn't know how to install it. They had to call GM who apparently told them I'd need a brand new harness like the ones they use on the factory dual battery setups. ****** wanted stupid money for part and labor.

But he did tell me that the voltage is controlled via the computer, and that I could add all the batteries and upgraded cables all I wanted and it still wouldn't change the voltage.

All you need is a battery hold down. It cost $5 shipped on eBay. Then go to your local hardware store and find a lug that will fit. That's it. Easy enough and battery doesn't move at all.

I don't mean a tie down harness ... the dealer said a new engine harness (much $) specifically designed for the dual battery trucks would need to be swapped in.

Btw, most people like the OEM look and use wire loom. I personally like how the zero gauge looks especially since it cost me $4/ft so I have it displayed. You can do a similar setup with wire loom if you want it looking factory more than aftermarket like mine is. But people seem to like it. I got an oil change a couple weeks ago and while I was waiting to pay, two mechanics came over to me and were asking me if I did it myself and were telling me they liked the job I did which made me feel good. Even the other people listening in the waiting room were impressed that the mechanics went out if their way to give me praise on my install.
