Dual battery kit need help

I want to put a second battery in my 11 Tahoe LT. I know that the PPV has dual batteries, but my chevy dealer has no idea if there is a GM kit. Is there a complete kit for this?

Yes. There are multiple parts to purchase, as seen in the attached diagram. I have most (except the cables and the tie down cleat) if you want to have the parts.

PPV tahoes have second batterys for all the extra communications equipment that has to be on at all times

I find myself listening to my stereo with the vehicle off. And I have run into a rather short reserve time. I figured a second battery would significantly increase my reserve time.

Or perhaps the National Luna system. http://www.sierraexpeditions.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=543 Not cheap but I like the controllers and the ability to see what my batteries are doing.

The second battery is an option. Not all PPVs come with them. While our 2010 Tahoe PPV has a second battery tray, it's never been used, and it has no other parts to add a second battery.

While searching for a Tahoe PPV, it appeared that those with a second battery were probably the exception, than the norm.
