it has 4 coats of clear on it...

Wrong Paint without a doubt, not the same color.

makes me think twice about spraying a few odds and ends on mine with "color matched" spray paint... Ive never had a problem before but those results are not what i would be looking for...

I"m betting the color variation is becasue you didn;t start with the same basecoat color.


those are black, and I think the bodies are white primer.
thus you get a lot darker color.
with a white part you;d have been fine, or a white primer/first coat.
