Wife’s 07 Tahoe has a lifter issue. Doing the AFM/DOD delete. Since we tow a 25’ travel trailer I’d like to put a stage 2 cam from TSP in it, 212/216 low lift. My question is the durability, should I be worried that the new cam would hurt the motor? 125,*** miles. Driven lightly, but we do live in the hill country and it hates towing the camper up hills. Looking for a little more HP and low end torque. TSP web site says the cam works with stock push rods, springs and converter. I will be tossing in chromoly push rods and probably LS6 valve springs since I’m that far in anyways. Anyone have a stage 2 cam that damaged their motor?

I don't think that cam is good with stock springs. Max lift on stock springs is .520. I think you're going to lose too much bottom end torque with that camshaft and its going to shift your powerband higher.

Consider the Crane PowerMaxLS and Cam Motion drop-in camshafts instead.
