Wondering if anyone has dynamated their doors and if its worth the cost....

Have a 2012 suburban with 10k on it and when closing the doors sounds like they are going to fall apart.

Thought maybe dynamat would make they sold sounding.

I have. All four doors in Dynamat / Brown Bread. I did the inside at both panels.

I have 19 sheets of alpha damp if you're interested. It's much thicker and tackier than dynamat. They have a website if you want to check it out.

i did it. It does sound better. Solid "thud" when closing the doors. Also less resonance.

I used NVX and am happy with the outcome. 100% coverage isn't necessary, find the resonating surfaced and apply there... lots of info if you search.

In mho it's one of the best things you can ever do. I did it on my avalanche and it works beautifully. I will be doing my esv next. When I changed out the carpet inside i sprayed the floor with rubberized sealant to reduce noise. works great.

i have not dynamatted my yukon just because it prob cost me too much ...but i did have my previous 4 door accord fully dynamatted. It did help tremoundously with the rattle in the trunk. However, some people just take the license plate frame off or "tape the license plate" on
