You can run more timing, with less detonation, you can make more power!
I don't run in my Tahoe though....too hard to find.
Run it in my BigHP cars though....E85 and E98 when I can find it....and its cheap. I love E98 and its so cheap.






Yeah? Forged LS3? Aluminum Block? Big Heads?
I thought you would go for the Iron...less block flex under heavy boost.
How much boost are you going to push? and Meth? or just E85?
What about the TRX? You going to be flip that off too?

Starting with an iron block 6.0 (gen4) going to the machine shop, getting punched out to a 6.2, forged/balanced rotating assembly, ring gapped for boost and a stage 3 blower cam. I have 823 Rec port heads that came with the motor, I will get those done, LS3 valves, BTR .660 springs.

Planning on about 15# of boost, 93/E85 with meth.

OMG.....
Iron LS3? You don't think the walls are too thin for boost? I've done it without boost but never with.

Have you considered just staying 6.0 and running more boost? F1A Baby! 24lbs!

Or.....Sleeve the block and run 427 pistons....388! That would be the BOMB!

I have already talked to the machine shop. There is plenty of meat in the iron block, we actually discussed going to 6.4, but getting 6.2 forged pistons and rods will be friendly to my budget. I can spend that extra money on the heads and fuel system.
