Hey guys

On my 01 XL I was installing the new brakes.
I took off the old rotor, I seen a lot of brake material and dust in the hat near the ebrake area. Before this, my ebrake pedal was very soft, like zero resistance when activating it.

On both sides, even with the new rotors there is light scraping on both sides. The adjustment dial on both sides doesn't do a whole lot. And on the passenger side I csn actually move the shoe set up amd down. As you can see in the video. When they are pushed down all the way, only the bottom seems to push out when the pedal is engaged. And when they are pushed up the whole assembly moves out and in with pedal usage. With the new rotor the scraping is still there, just less. This side honestly needed care. Brake pads low and in backwards, no grease on guide pins, failing brake hardware, rust, bad rotor. First job since I've owned the truck. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Thank you
