Awe sweet, I'm shopping right now for the fans. I thought that might be the case. Looking at NNBS 2500 fans with 7 blades but not for sure how to tell if they are 700W or the 400W.

Trying to locate better fans on Rock Auto... a 2010 2500 Silverado should be the bigger fans no? These HERE say are w/ tow package. However, the width and height don't make sense up with the radiator core HERE for my vehicle 2001 Tahoe. Fans are 9" taller and 5.75" wider. Although radiator core sizes are same between 2010 and 2001! Bit confused? Photos look exact same between GMT800 and GMT900 fans.

No luck on eBay nor local junkyard to source decent fans. It's like 50$ cheaper for the light duty fans on eBay used. Not worth it.

these are 700w. I can't advise on buying anything aftermarket, there are dual 5 blade 700w fans, but unless you can see the motor part number then no way to really verify otherwise unless you are 100% sure it came out of a K5L optioned vehicle

Cadillac fans were too good to be true. I just did a test fit. Would be a nightmare to mount them. They aren't even wide enough. Unless you're swapping JUST the fans or the fan motors this probably isn't a good idea. I'm going to try and return them then just buy the proposed truck fans.
Most of the time, the people on this forum are the “LS experts” not the guy at the wrecking yard. We have done these conversions ourselves so my best advice is to follow what the people here say to do, to the letter. I myself admire the ones who have gone before me and done all the trial and error, because I don’t like to waste my time and if someone else has already gone through the pain of it, why do it again? I do not remember advice to use NNBS fans. The NBS fans for MY 05 up is what I remember using.

For sure! I shouldn't have deviated from the plan. A little piece of me was like I need to buy something I worked so hard scavenging at the junkyard lol Typically I have some great finds but realized I've picked over everything they had in the lot... Switching to Cadillac's sounded like a good idea but then... Fitment! YUCK.

I've got to ask, a K5L is the NNBS Escalade? I assumed it was a 2500 truck. Searching internet shows a 2 door blazer.
