This may not be the right section, but im wanting to take the manual radiator fan off and install electrical radiator fan. First will i need one or two, i belive 2 but just to be sure. Second what sizes will i need or is there already a compony that sells the fans pre mounted ready to drop in?. Finally how would i wire them into the PCM? is it like a chip just plug into the computer and then the stock harness plugs into it or what? Thanks!!!

Ideally, find a set of fans from an 05 up Tahoe/Yukon or find a set off a 01-06 Denali/Escalade. Many had these fans stock & you can find them at a yard or eBay.

I found a set from an 05 Tahoe & it's a factory install & can be wired into the computer. You need to have the pin activated. Do a quick search & there is a ton of info...

EDIT: hear ya go...look here ---> http://tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9400

I kept my stock fan and added a 14" E-Fan to the center of the radiator and wired it to the switched 12V terminal on the running light relay (with it's own fuse). The fan comes on whenever the truck is on. It works great IMO, and I did the whole thing for under $30.

I found a set off ebay for cheap like $60 shipped. Would I need a shroud like the stock mechanical fan or not? I wouldn't think I would cause they bolt directly onto to radiator, well there's not alot of space beteween the 2 so any info would help!
