Sell me what?? I don't need a belt mine is a tad shorter then stock now. LOL

I think he was offering to sell you his UD Pulleys. Buy them. You will like em. They will work nicely your new upgrades. You may have to buy another shorter belt again though.

BTW, I am jealous of your new water pump. :)

The temperature sensor, does it mount within the engine block?

Yes I mounted mine in the engine block, it needed an adapter. You can mount it into the intake as well if you have a spot for it.

Wait! Your friend is running the Proform on a Vortec? Everything I read says it doesn't fit! The Summit guy wouldn't sell me one, says it's too different.

Your saying it does fit?

It WILL physically bolt up, you NEED to address the coolant bypass, you need to address the coolant bypass on anything with a thermostat and an electric pump whether it be bone stock TBI, bone stock Vortec or Vortec headed swap pre Vortec block ...

You need a belt about 72 inches long ... atleast I did.

I had a spare belt laying around, I cut it, approximated the length, drove to the parts store and got one with the right number of ribs in the length I needed. They let me try it on my truck before I bought it.

The only mod he had n his truck with the electric pump was a clamped off hose?? I'm finding that hard to believe ...

Any chance you have the part # or link for the adapter?
