Going to pull a stock 5.7 out of a 1996 Tahoe. I plan on unplugging the wiring harness and going from there. Obviously, I will remove the hood grille, radiator, fan shroud. Anything else I should remove to pull the engine? Are the bellhousing bolts a PITA to get to? Any pitfalls or cautions?
Please, any advice or suggestions would be appreciated! Really need this remove/ install to be quick and painless...

Thank you!

To make it completely easy on yourself, pull the fenders and everything off the front end, then you just have an open compartment and it makes it so much easier

Label all your connections and plugs (plug A goes to connection A, etc....)
