Escalade with 6 disc slave WHAT DO I DO!

I have an 03 escalade with the 6 disc slave cd player and I'm putting in a pioneer nav. The slave player will be usless and I hate just having it there with no purpose. What can I do as far as removing it and what do I put in there in it's place? I don't want a custom console or anything like that just want to fill the void.

I left mine in there. Looks better than having nothing there IMO

Figured I'd leave it. Doesn't seem to be any options out there for it unless you were to fab something for it.

I looked for an option as well and couldn't come up with anything that would make it look decent..

I would pull it out and try fitting one of these pockets in there. They run about $15 bucks, you'll have to figure out a way to keep it mounted but it will give extra storage. Worst case you put the slave changer back in.

I actually just did that. Removed the changer and found a pocket from an old single din dash kit and mounted it to the rear of the bezel. Now I have a place for my remote/wallet/phone.

yea I hear the pocket with the metra install kits fit with some minor methods of attaching/supporting it.

I've been told this gm pocket(#15958735) fits but I'm not sure if thats for a single cd or 6 disc.
the picture in this link has very confused.... why is there foam at the opening? The side rails look the same as the 6disc but might be the same rails on the single disc. And the pocket I've seen for the single disc I never noticed the foam

I left mine in also but I think a suburban without the 6 cd changer has a pocket that will fit

The suburbans do have a pocket in them, I did, but the Denali & Escalade have a different centole console set up.
