Yup, the oem ones are permasealed ... so dremel up if it's going to be one of those.

The Putco on the other hand I hear a held together with chewed up mentos. :shrug:

haha i think the Term Bytul tape comes to mind. Im sure your Builder used this stuff when you had your Headlights resealed after modding

This sounds like really cool idea and would be easier than putting a bunch of leds in it. Id see if you could get one cheap and experiment on it. Not sure about the signal part though. Might be too much.

Sounds like a good Idea. But just not sure about the LED strips. Just because I have seen and heard that the LED's go out fast. So I wouldn't want to open it up to fix it constantly. Also I think using it with the turns would be to much just the brakes would be good enough.

I'm with you on this. That, and I'll assume that it would be difficult to get the flexible strip of LEDs to line up perfectly straight.

No signal, but reverse = winner. It would really help with night driving.
