Esky third brake light not working

Need some help. Hooked up my esky third brake light via the how-to and for some reason the light des not work when brakes are applied. I hooked my stock light back up and it worked fine. Any ideas?

I am sure someone else can offer up an opinion, but if I had to take a guess, I would say that maybe the esky brake light itself is out. Whether it is damaged, or simply a bad bulb(s), I don't know, but that would be my initial thought based on your original post. Also, I would check your connections again. Possibly, something came undone, or was not quite hooked up right when you had the esky brake light plugged in.

check and make sure the pin is aligned in the connector. I had that problem. You can also add power to the pins. Black is Ground and color wire is power. After added power, it will light up. If all else fails, i have a extra esky Light bar in red.

Still have not resolved this issue. This was bout on here and am extremely unhappy with it not working when I received it, so I wasted $300.

have you tested it off the truck: applied 12V to the prongs to see if it works? If you test it and it doesn't light you have your answer, a non functioning light. And you would need to cut it open to repair.....so yea you may have wasted $300

Hold on, you paid $300 for the light and the spoiler, not just the light right?

Then just ask whomever you bought it from to refund you what you had to pay to replace the damaged part.

Yeah Im gonna test it this weekend. Asked for a refund and nothing. If I test it and it does not work then I will make a post explaining everything
