Esky third brake light not working

I found a 3rd esky light and spoiler for $100. Im assuming its a good deal???

It is a goos deal ... but why are you buying another spoiler if it's just the lamp that's not working?

Too much money for a clear lens. Still lights up the same. If i was going to spend that kinda money, id spend a little more and upgrade to the putco that lights all the way across.

How would I test if the light is bad? I removed the esky light from my truck and went back to the stocker to test it. Stocker lights up fine. Once I figure out if it is working or not I'll post who I bought it from

Just plug in the harness ... if it lights up under braking it works, if it doesn't it doesn't and it means that something is wrong with either the leds or the cable/harness.

or pins in connector not making proper contact. You can add power to the pins and see if they light up.
