I've had my 08 Tahoe for 8 years now and I'm kind of getting bored with it, I want something more fun to drive. The thought of selling it has crossed my mind but I feel like I'll regret it. Has anyone here ever sold your SUV and regretted it down the line?

Sold a 94 f150 definitely regret that as i sold it cheap and the guy still has it 4 yrs later
My 94 suburban i sold that but i dont regret that so much as i scored a 97 tahoe the following year.
I say if your bored with it do something with it to step it up a notch and make it enjoyable again.

Ya i moved to an area that wasnt conducive to the health of the car lol. I also had no place to work on it anymore so i had to sell it. Selling my baby wasnt even the worst part of it. I had a performance ignition setup (along with other parts) and a full sound system. Guy i sold it to didnt listen to me at all and tried to use stock parts on the ignition. He also fried my amp because he was too stupid and kept pulling the wires off the cap. After he got done ruining the car and burning a very expensive set of performance tires bald he then sold it to someone even younger and dumber. That person tried to put cheap of the cheap tires on it and was out trying to race around in it. Almost killed himself and wrapped the car around a tree and yay i got to see pictures of what was left of my baby.

Really regret selling my 05 Avalanche. Then I regret selling the Yukon Denali XL I got to replace the Avalanche. Tried a few other vehicles after that and ended back up with a 2011 Avalanche.

I only regret selling two vehicles. My 88 IROC, a cherry car but I didn't have any place to keep it in the apartment complex I lived in. And my 02 Trailblazer LTZ. The Trailblazer I had rebuilt the entire suspension on and it was a very clean, excellent running truck with only 90K miles on it, with a towing tune for the lower RPM torque. That I6, 4x4 with 3.73 gears got me 24.5 mpg average on a cross country trip.

The biggest disappointment was in the trade in price. If I had sold them privately I would have done better. If you trade in an 08, you're going to be very disappointed with what the dealer offers you if it's clean and in excellent mechanical condition.

I miss both of them though.

I'll drive the escalade into the ground. It's too versatile for what I need. I can tow a car across country, haul a family of mormons, drive it in a blizzard, and take it out for date night. I would regret getting rid of it unless I was replacing it with another one.
