I’ve been hearing a hissing noise on acceleration and took a look underneath my denali. The exhaust piping just after the cats look flat and dented? I couldn’t find any pictures online. Anyone have a 2021+ Yukon Denali they could look under?

I’ve attached some pics of mine. It just doesn’t look right. And I haven’t hit anything since I bought it new a few months ago. The dealer did report the owner drove it 200 miles before I took delivery.

Also, I’ve looked up the part number on GM parts direct, and the diagram they show of the part actually does look flat. Mine does look flat but there could be a dent.

Also I have the GM performance exhaust option, and I’m unsure at which point that part gets put in during production, so I’m hoping it’s just a simple exhaust leak from a bad install and not anything more serious.

That smashed part of the exhaust is normal as they are all like that, it doesn't hurt anything like cutting down on exhaust flow.

It installs behind the y-pipe and cats usually. I'd look at junctions points for black soot stains which would indicate a leak
