Well since you probably spent well over $1K on the intake and TB I would suggest you take the time and switch to a 102mm MAF and do a 4in intake tube... No sense in making a 102mm Throttle Body suck trough a significantly smaller MAF and Intake tube.
Not to mention the FAST Intake pushes the TB forward so the old CAI probably wont even line up without some awkward angling in the joints.

Something like this would be helpful. And you would need some 4in Intake Tube to fab it up.

im no pro with a 5.3 but im thinking a fast intake is alittle extreme for a 5.3 suv. it flows so much you will prob lose significant bottom end power. also the fast/ls1 car intakes are shorter than the truck intakes. the truck intakes are taller for the exact reason of inlet tube/radiator shroud clearance. i think with one of those intakes, your best bet is to swap to electric fans, that will open up a good amount of room in that area.

for $1k+, there is much better suited upgrades for the vehicle

Not trying to be an ass but spending $1K on an intake with a 102mm Throttle Body and then putting it on a tiny MAF and Filter is pretty stupid...

The stock MAF is 75mm (4417 square mm of area)
The 102mm TB is 8171 square mm of area
You are reducing the air flow area by 46%...

As for a cam... Comp Cams Thumpr would probably get you the most power without a new converter.

it is my daily ride.. so i want hp without losing torque

thats like saying you just stocked up on twinkies, and you want to know what the best ice cream is without changing your pants size bc you want to get in shape.

the intake and cam will VERY effectively do the exact opposite of what you are tryin to do. but, in all honesty, itd prob run like a scalded dog if you purchased the 1 thing you said you didnt want to; a converter.

im not tryin to bust your balls, but you are going about your goals the hardest way possible. what exactly are your goals with the vehicle? street driven only? goes in the mud? you tryin to drag race it? let us know the exact goals, and youll probably get a few solid ideas from different members here

I agree with what folks are saying, you don't have the proper supporting mods for the intake swap. That being said, you could have just gone with a cam and TC and probably gotten more bang for the buck.

The only way I would remove a stock manifold would be for a supercharger.
