Well it's time to upgrade the avy's nav system so my factory GM radio/nav screen and GMX-550 LockPick will be up for sale soon. Spent all night last night picking out all the necesarry items. Basically looking to have all of the following: Rear cam, SiriusXM, steering wheel controls, iphone 5 compatibility, video/nav in motion bypass, and also to make sure OnStar/Bose is retained.

I weighed out my options and looked at all the 2013 screens that came out this year. I narrowed it down to the flag ship Pioneer, Alpine, and Kenwood navigation screens. Alpine had an 8" (vs 7") screen which looked great but then you have to get a special dash kit that would also replace the woodgrain paneling that surrounds the radio too because the screen is so big. Kenwood has a real nice screen and featured Garmin navigation but it doesn't have video output for iPhone 5 which automatically disqualifies it (AND it's more expensive then Pioneers flagship!). So needless to say I went with Pioneer.

List of items purchased all via amazon (except the screen which I got on eBay):
1) Parking Brake Override Bypass Fully Automatic Video in Motion Pioneer Extra Wire with OEM Pin and Tool Kit

2) Axxess Metra ASWC-1 Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface with New Micro B Connector (Black)

3) Pioneer ND-BC6 Universal Rear View Camera

4) Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter

5) SiriusXM SXV200v1 Connect Vehicle Tuner for SiriusXM-Ready Car Stereo Receivers

6) Metra 95-3305 Double DIN Installation Dash Kit for 2006-up Chevrolet Vehicles

7) PAC OS-4 ONSTAR INTERFACE (FOR GM 29-BIT LAN VEHICLES)

8) Pioneer AVIC-Z150BH 2013 Double Din GPS Navigation App Radio Car Receiver

Before and after pictures will be up as soon as all parts are in and it gets installed!

do you have factory back up cam? If so, you can use it on the Pioneer...

Nope I have this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/220789667189?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

It's the CCD Rear Cam system made for factory screens put it not from the factory. My car didn't come with navigation so it didn't come with the rear cam. It also quit working on me a while back and I never got it fixed. I will attempt to get it to work with my new screen but if I don't I'll have the new pioneer rear cam put in. The cool thing about the CCD cam is it fits in to my tailgate handle like a factory avy rear cam does unlike the pioneer rear cam that is in its own casing and has to be mounted somewhere.

debated getting the Nokya's a while back but to me bright white > yellow. I realize you get more light output out the yellow nokya's but it just looks... off. Besides, who doesn't like projector LED's ?!
