Fender flair removal

'02 stock fender flairs on suburban. How do you remove?

Besides the plastic push-pin style plugs/snaps is there anything else?

I haven't removed them but maybe some double sided tape along with those pins

its just the push pins on the sides as mentioned, and double sided tape. I removed mine and put painted flares on. Easy to do, just pull. Not so easy to pull off left over residue. So be warned.. lol

Use a 3m stripe wheel for the left over glue.

i would love to take the flares off my 02 z71 but i live in michigan and im afraid that there will be Rust under them.

How bad was the left over residue? And can you put the fender flares back on with ease?
