Finally planning a lift

Never lifted a vehicle before so I'm sure I'm over looking something but here's what I have planned so far.

Performance Accessories 3in body lift kit

Wheels - American Racing AR1727838 17x8, 4.5in backspace or 0.00 ET offset

Tires - 285/70r17 Grabber AT2's


Currently just sitting on the factory 16in tire/wheel setup and bilstein 4600's.


Anything else I should look at?

That's a good start. Look into some gap guards or making your own after the body lift

Make sure to get the right bumper brackets especially for the front

When I did my BL, having 2 jacks and a railroad tie was helpfull to lift the cab evenly without bending rockers... on a 2000 truck
