The XJs use glass headlights but the bulb is integrated so you need to swap the whole thing out anyways and I've owned a few Xjs that needed headlights, these lasted 16 years so can't say either is better or worse

In 40+ years of owning vehicles with glass headlights, I never had one damaged. Neither did anyone I knew. I never had, or saw, one get foggy either.

[Well... except in a crash.]

Sorry, but $100 is a lot, in my book.

Lord help me, the points are that glass was more durable and cost less, much less.

The quantity of old cars still rolling is completely irrelevant.

And aerodynamics is a thing. Whether you want to blame government CAFE regulations or car designers, upright glass headlights are aerodynamic bricks and have (mostly) gone the way of the dodo. Jeeps and Broncos are the only current production vehicles that come to mind that still use them.

If I send you a link to Google, will you research 'stick to the point, if you want to argue'?

I'm done.
