We just finished a 1,400mile trip from Oregon to Idaho and back. Near Boise / I-84 we had an occasion to driver 70mph (fastest yet) as this was 'slow' compared to the 80mph speed limit AND the winds were 25mph gusting to 35mph thru the entire 70mile stretch we drove on this freeway.

The 21 Yukon w/6.2L + 5300lb 14x7 trailer + Blue Ox WDH + Curt brake controller performed very well indeed. 25-35mph cross-winds at 70mph and yet the combination was still (firmly) on this side of being under control.

We even hit a small snow storm cresting the mountains near Crater Lake, OR and just plowed thru the light slush...

We've completed 5,000miles of towing since buying this rig and what great ride for comfort, low-noise, and smooth power up / down mountain grades.
