Hello again I am trying to Re-install the new passenger side floor pan in my 2003 Tahoe. I have got the rotted metal cut out and I am trying to get down to metal with grinder and sanding and wire brushing and then I will use phosoric acid then several coats of self etching primer and some 3m bed liner to have a tough protective layer. Anyways enough rambling trying to find out what I should use to seal and fill the gap between the floor pan and body. Maybe JB Weld? I just want to make sure its something strong like what GM uses at the factory. Also I am using sheet metal screws to mount it. Any input appreciated.
thanks

3M Panel Bond is a possibility. Much stronger than JB Weld and it's what is used by body shops to bond panels together. You do need a special gun but the stuff is unbelievably strong.

Try windshield polyurethane. Have you ever tried to get a windshield out? It's about $10 a tube here, and uses a regular caulk gun.
