foglight hid

Hello new to the forum and new to chevy. I recently purchased hid kits for my 01 tahoe and i got the lows in with no problem. I bought the kit from hidgate i have bought 4 other kits from them for my other vehicles and havent had 1 issue till we got to the install on the tahoe. the sent me capacitors and wire harness and neither solved my problem and they cant figure it out. so the issue is when everything is plugged in the bulb turns on for half a second and then turns right off. does anyone know why or how i could fix this issue or if there is a kit out there that works?

you need a relay, that get's power from your battery

Cant speak to your particular problem, however in regards to a kit that works...
Most here will probably say(And use) the kits sold at: ddmtuning.com

Hope someone else can fix your intermittent light issue.. bubt if not theres another source for future purchase

thanks for your help guys i think im going to buy a foglight kit from ddm hope the color matches. which is more compatable slim or regualr balast? i did it with a relay which was included with the wire harness.

Could it be something stupid like having your high beams on?
