Thanks Sam. Hope all is well in the Rocky Mountains. I see your sig has some updates to your NBS. Did you make a build thread?
Thanks man. Doing well, but will be migrating south east to Texas in 2 days. Already moved all my stuff, but had some delays getting things wrapped up with the Yukon. Divorced March 9, house closed March 10. Bought new place in Tyler, Tx June 2nd. Moved all my junk there June 17th. Tuesday, we hit the road..! No I didn’t make a build thread. I know I should but it’s been pretty chaotic the last few months. One of these days..

Life changes Sam. @Sam Harris Wishing you the best with the move down to Texas and going in a new direction. One day at a time my man. Remember front windscreen, not the rearview mirror. And ask @Tonyrodz about how much we beat him up to make a build thread.

Never a bad time to sit back and pull it together. Good luck man. Excited to see once you get down there and what else happens to the NBS. Hot, dry and moar speed....

Welcome back @Fosscore, now that both you and @PG01 returned it feels like old times! And you and me both must have been dreaming about a C10 on billets but I think my dream was a bit lower than yours. I still want to build one, bodied and bagged, LS swapped, but don’t know if it will happen. Maybe one day, never say never, right. Anyway good to hear you’re back in the states!

Oh, btw I retired while you were down under so now I have more time but less money… ;)

Thanks man. Yep like old times ...already cost me a few dollars being back in the neighborhood. hahaha

Yes your C10 would be a pavement scraper, and sure would be a looker too. Never say never....:D.

Good on you for retiring man. I'm sure you will make the most of this next phase. I'll have to set aside a week or two to get thru your build threads again...

1982 Chevy Silverado C10

This is what I was looking at maybe for a project with my son …. But again the mechanic said don’t do it.

It was in very rough shape all over even though the price was attractive.

Had that square body smell.

frame looked pretty reasonable but I'm sure it might've needed "the world" mechanically if your mechanic said "no". From the pics it looks like a workable project, tho.
