Home diy Foss, i guess if you wanted to replace the chrome strip cant you just get that piece.
Bumper comes off really easy though btw 7mm for the liners and a 10mm for the two bolts under and pull out from 1/4 panel on both sides then slip off and disconnect main harness for rear sensors... had mine off for cleaning early this summer...158080F4-6926-4662-93A7-6E0F10F03EB6.jpeg32C72676-05A2-4874-A87B-0C0A13076BC9.jpeg158080F4-6926-4662-93A7-6E0F10F03EB6.jpeg32C72676-05A2-4874-A87B-0C0A13076BC9.jpegC2CC7355-DABF-4642-AE91-C4E4481A4DA9.png584A5616-CC0E-489D-B66D-3E901373C804.png

Take rubbing compound to it and the color transfer should come right off leaving you with just those little black spots, super easy to blend in with touch up. Try and polish the chrome best you can and call it a day.
Then tell him next shop visit is on the house

I agree with @05Single . I'd do it myself and call it a day--next visit is on him

Thx guys for the 100% vote to do it at home. In the grand scheme, it’s not that bad. Really just a love tap and only cosmetic. I may try to get to it this weekend.

Gave the truck a quick wash early, but no time to detail or even tire shine. Taking daughter (8) to first lacrosse practice/tryout this morning to see if she will like it.

The coach said to bring her out as they are loosely practicing to see how much interest there is with the first timers.

Came home from work today and told the wife I was taking her truck to get the windshield tinted. This is one mod that she said yes to 100% as long as it wasn't too dark....lol.... I told her it would reduce the heat and UV. That was all she needed to hear.

Took it back to the same shop that did my Tahoe last weekend. The shop manager kept his word to hook me up with a two truck deal. He knocked $25 off the regular windshield price of $125 down to $100 plus tax/supplies. So out the door for $110. There were no other vehicles in the shop and the boys had me out of there in less than 1 hour. Sweet!!

Looks great. The boys in the shop said it looked pretty dark too. I think the wife is going to love it, running incognito and keeping those sun rays off her arms and face. Winning!!

The rest of the truck is 15% over OEM in the rear and 15% on the fronts.

Before tint.

Do you guys have yearly vehicle inspections there? We have inspection every 2 yrs in NJ, so you'd have to Peel off the tint every 2 yrs just to change the sticker.
