Good but which?

I was thinking of the rough country but it needs some unreversible work!

That's why I am still looking for another way around it especially now I got my self another truck 98 Yukon and I can see that the rear leafs are flat with zero load

unknown at this time.
Unfortunately just about all lifts require un-reversable rework. I would go with the 6" which will give you the option or choosing 4 or 6 inches to please your needs.

For our trucks, all lifts require some cutting and or welding.

The cranking and just adding upper arms does not change the other geometry involved such as the shaft as previously mentioned....and suspension travel....

ok to the comment about 3 inches with the keys messing up your ride this is why ppl use the ford keys cuz at 3" of crancked lift the amount of tension on the torsion bars and other components stays the same as factory keys at stock setting.

^^^^Competently incorrect. People disregard this comment. Crank is crank, no other way around that.

Ford keys allow some trucks the ability to crank further than stock GM keys. end of story there. Yes I am right.

Yes Bowtie Freak is correct.
You are still increasing the amount of pre-load at the key end of the torsion bar whether it is with crank or repositioned keys.
Same difference either way you look at it.

Lift keys are pointless, they are a a waiste of your money.

If you Use keys to crank past the limits of your GM keys then there just isn't any help for ya.

I understand that lift keys are marketed in a way to make you believe that if you put them on your vehicle, you will gain 3" of lift while maintaining stock ride and geometry.
BUT that is a lie!
False advertisement it is indeed.

Take this information from people that have the ability to understand and/or accept logistics and mechanical systems such as the torsion bar suspension system.

That's not to be little anyone but some people just don't have it,
If anyone thinks that they are still a piece of miracle metal then so be it, it doesn't bother me and I will not argue.

I vote for 3" body lift.
Gives you 3" of lift (only more fender clearance)
Without harming/effecting factory suspension geometry and stiffness.

Yes, the frame shows a lot. I had a '97 with the body lift and I just painted the frame about twice a year with some spray paint.

Some really good information here that clears up the misconception about indexed keys and lift keys.

Also read elsewhere that there really is no true 4 inch kit. They are all technically 6. Is this correct?

The Rancho 4 is just advertised as such. Its 4 from crank. 6 from stock.
